Tampa Lead Pastors

It all started with…

Antonio Reyes and his wife Cynthia have their sons; Jordan Ezekiel and Jadon Isaiah. They are better known as the Reyes Team. He is boisterous and humorous, while she is passively funny with her smiling heart. Together they make a healthy and complimentary balance.  Their passion for God, family, and ministry is the sequence that they uphold for strength and stability.

Their origins are from two different major cities. Antonio is from “The Windy City” Chicago and Cynthia is from “The Big Apple” New York. They united in marriage in 2009, where Cynthia joined Antonio in Chicago. Their first and only child was born in 2011. Together they have learned to serve as a family and thoroughly enjoy the impact of telling their story.

Antonio has experienced the deliverance of God in his life. He has seen how God has brought him out of many critical moments and even seen him through many tragic experiences. His story unfolds from a God fearing child to a broken teenager who entered an early life of perdition. Yet the unceasing prayers of his mother reached the heavenly courts and earthly justice. In desperation for a divine intervention, Antonio heard the word of the Lord. He also experienced a humbling touch from God. The heart of a young man was transformed and never the same. Reyes accepted the call from God and has determined not to rest until the Lord calls him unto eternity.

Reyes has been graced to serve in many areas of ministry. He is equally passionate about supporting ministries. He is starting at CCWC School of ministry to further his biblical knowledge to enhance all of his life experiences as well as missionary travels which have included Nicaragua, Colombia, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, and Waukegan, IL.

Cynthia is a dynamic teacher of the word of God. A good part of her formation and mentorship was due to her father Rev. Leonardo Centeno. Within her father’s ministry she assisted the administrative department, prepared study guides for church staff and leadership training. Her continual development progressed to become Associate Pastor to Canaan church. She was blessed to also found Young Adult Singles ministry which continues on today nationally within the Defenders Movement. She earned a 3 year certification from the Theological Institute. Lastly, she earned a BA in Sociology from Fordham University. She has a burden to restore broken families and nurture the hungry in our Tampa community.

Finally my brethren, Antonio and Cynthia’s pastoral back ground has been shaping through the years. Today we stand together in obedience to the call of God by reaching the broken and unwanted.

(1Corinthians 1:26-31) Brothers and sister, think of what you were when called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things-and the things that are not-to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him, who has become for us wisdom from God-that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written. “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”
